The Mistress of the Beasts is a character of a Romanian folk tale, ”Eternal youth and life without death”. She lives in a timeless realm, in a beautiful castle, surrounded by a dark forest full of horrific beasts. These creatures are her babies and she tamed them and she feeds them like any goodman would feed their farm animals. She falls in love with Prince Charming and marries him, offering Life without Death. But a man can die but once, and it's in his nature to seek that death, so Prince Charming leaves the magic realm and The Empress of the Beasts stands alone in eternity, waiting for her beloved to come back.
